The characters were great and it was nice to see the motorcycle club and bar shown in a good light. The story was a bit too repetitive and I think the ending could have been better.

First off, I’m not a big fan of tats. I’m just not. However, this is a story about a biker, set in a biker bar, so tats are expected. Now, on to my review: Everyone has their own demons and secrets, even heroes. This book is about getting past those demons and allowing yourself to choose living instead of merely existing. And isn’t it cool how things come full circle? Brandon and Finlay each have their own demons, their pasts. He’s a biker and runs his family’s bar. She’s a caterer hired to expand the bar’s menu and kitchen. Read the book – it’s really good! You’ll never look at whistle blowers, lollipops, or bullet trains the same again!

Finlay and Bullet… the two couldn’t be more opposite. She’s soft and fenine and he’s gruff and bossy. Their story is adorable and funny - and I absolutely love with rough and tough men crumble for the woman they love. Melissa Foster is such a creative genius with her characters and the worlds she builds.

This book had me hooked from page one and I didn’t want it to end. Bullet and Finlay definitely have chemistry but they are complete opposites. He is a total alpha male with his leather and tattoos while Finlay wears her skirts and dresses and loves pink. These two may be opposites but they have more in common than either of them think. They have both had to deal with loss in their lives in very different ways, but in getting to learn more about each other, they may be more similar than they think. I really enjoyed seeing these two banter back and forth and Bullet and his innuendos had me laughing out loud. I knew that Bullet had a past but his past is heartbreaking and it explains why Bullet is like he is and I’m glad that Finlay came into his life as someone who has become very important to Bullet. She helped him to work on overcoming some things that he has felt guilty about and in turn allowing him to enjoy life more and to make some positive changes. This book had me laughing and crying but in the end I have to say it is definitely one of my favorites and the song Lollipop is swirling in my head. #lollipop

Driving Whiskey Wild by Melissa Foster was a fun, dirty sexy emotional read. These Whiskey Brother may look like tough bikers but they have hearts of gold. Finlay Wilson is a chef who first meets Bullet at a wedding she was catering and the first thing he said to her was “Hey sweetheart, whaddaya say I take you for a ride on the Bullet train?” Now she is asked to help with the kitchen renovations at Whiskey’s Bar and working alongside Bullet. Bullet is big tattooed biker guy who always looks angry but that doesn’t stop Finlay from putting him in his place. Bullet at first doesn’t want Finley around the bar because he thinks he needs to protect her, but he soon finds out that she can handle herself. These two might be opposites but their sexual chemistry is off the charts. Finlay is his light that makes him start letting go of the past and looking to the future. There are so many cute and enjoyable moments between this couple and friends/family. Melissa’s books are always addicting and she knows how to pull at your heartstrings and how to get down and dirty. Highly recommend checking out this series and all of her other ones, you will not be sorry you did.

I didn’t think I could love one of Melissa’s hero’s more than I did Bear Whiskey, until I met Bullet. Watching Bullet and Finley fall in love and defeat Bullets demons with love was amazing. Love this book!

Big, bad, scary, sexy Bullet has a heart of gold. Who'd have thought? I fell in love with Bullet. Seriously? Who wouldn't? And Finlay is his perfect match. And we can't help but love Bullet's dog Tinkerbell too. I just love everything about this book.

Driving Whiskey Wild is the perfect title for Bullet and Finlay’s story. The toughest of the Whiskey is about to fall and fall hard. The question is will he except the fall or fight it every step of the way? Finlay has a fear of dogs, and has no idea what to do on a motorcycle so why on earth did her toes curl at every sight off Bullet Whiskey? Finlay owns her own catering company and has agreed to help bring the Whiskey Bar up to times or as close as Biggs Whiskey would allow. What she didn’t expect was to find something wonderful to hold on too. Bullet aka Brandon has a gauntlet of issues from PTSD to battling his own demons from being in the special forces. He’s not just a big burly biker who felt nothing for the people in his life. He is after all “The Protector” of the Whiskey family along with his brothers of the Dark Knights. He has a heart and he loves deeply, and he is about to put Finlay on notice. Bullet and Finlay have been skirting around what ever this thing is between them that is impossible to fight any longer. The question is will both of them win in the end? Finlay loves to cook, and what better way to put said talents to work for her than opening her own business. There is one man standing in her way, Bullet Whiskey. Bullet does not really know what to do with what he is feeling for Finn, all he knows is he wants more than a quick slide between the sheets. My song for Bullet and Finlay is “Candy Girl, Riverdale style”. What I enjoyed about the Driving Whiskey Wild supporting and lead characters is the strong feelings that all the Whiskey’s shows toward the ones who mattered. It makes me feel like I am apart of their inner circle. As I am sure is the same feelings Finlay, Penny, Sarah and her kids and Izzy (Finlay’s BFF)felt upon meeting the Whiskey’s. Peaceful Harbor has become my favorite town to revisit long after I finish the Whiskey Series. Melissa Foster does family drama, Sexy Bikers and strong heroines who know how to keep them in line, like Ben & Jerry’s do ice cream…smooth and one lick at a time. The narration was engaging and the characters were distinct. I enjoyed Paul Woodson who quickly drew me into the book and made me feel as though I was one of the characters. If you enjoy listening to audio books and want a fun, sexy read with an emotional pull, then pick up a copy of Driving Whiskey Wild, written by Melissa Foster and narrated by Paul Woodson. I am off to book #4 in the Whiskey Series. Rated 5 Stilettos and a Recommended Read by Deb!
