I’ve been waiting a long time for Sasha Whiskey and Ezra Moore’s love story to become a part of this world. Melissa Foster did NOT disappoint with these two love birds. They have been fighting their attraction to each other ever since they were teenagers. I was thrilled to see where they got their start too. Finally they decide to be rebellious and come together even though Redemption Ranch has a no-fraternization policy in place ever since Sasha’s brother Seeley “Doc” Whiskey had his heart broken from a previous young love. The cutest little character belongs to Ezra’s son, Gus. Gus is out of this world adorable and has the hugest crush on Sasha. Gus loves to call Sasha Sugar and spend time with her whenever his mom is too busy for him. Who could ever be too busy for a cute little guy like Gus? The audiobook for A Taste of Whiskey is narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Aiden Snow. Savannah Peachwood has previously narrated several of Melissa Foster books and continues to deliver an excellent performance. She brings Sasha to life so well with a smooth voice that exudes passion, love, and so many other emotions. I just love Aiden Snow's amazingly rich, smooth, and deep voice. He is so perfect for Melissa Foster’s male lead characters. A Taste of Whiskey by Melissa Foster is one of my most absolute favorite stories from the Love In Bloom Series! There are multiple genres in this story such as single-dad, forbidden romance, and friends-to-lovers and I love all those genres. The characters are all very well developed, some much fun and dirty-talking banter between Sasha and Ezra. Gus is a hoot too!

Not exciting to read. Not much character development for characters or background. Author never really set the scene so you could have good visuals. I like to insert myself into the lives of the characters and I couldn’t do that. It honestly sounds like a story I would have written in high school.

Loved, loved, loved Ezra and Sasha’s story! If you’ve kept up with Melissa Foster’s Whiskey stories, you know Gus has a massive crush on Sasha! He even takes advice from Dare Whiskey on how to get a girl’s attention. I loved it when Ezra said, “maybe you shouldn’t hang around Dare so much”. Hilarious! I loved the push and pull between Ezra and Sasha. While we know Sasha has a crush on Ezra, we never knew the backstory. I can’t even imagine kissing the “man of my dreams” at 15yrs old! I love that Sasha knows what she wants and FINALLY goes after it—even though rules are broken. I throughly enjoyed this novel and highly recommend reading it! Gus will steal your heart like he stole mine! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Melissa Foster has proven once again why she’s my favorite author! She has created a world full of loving, passionate, sexy people! Sasha Whiskey and Ezra Moore have known each other since they were teenagers. Sasha has been in love with Ezra for as long as she can remember. He’s the guy she’s compared every other man to. Sasha has played it safe and been the good girl, but she’s done with that. It’s time for her to finally get what she wants or move on, once, and for all. Ezra Moore is a single dad to little Gus. Ezra has been tempted by Sasha since they were teenagers but he’s done his best to keep his feelings under wraps because his job and the security the Redemption Ranch provides him and his son, Gus, are more important than anything. Or so he thinks. Seeing how much Gus loves his ‘Sugar’ doesn’t make it easy for Ezra to do the right thing. When Sasha decides that being with Ezra is worth the risk, there’s no fighting it. And let me tell you…they burn the place down!!! I have loved reading about the Whiskeys and getting to know everyone at Redemption Ranch. Little Gus will melt your heart! I can’t wait to find out more about everyone in the upcoming stories!

Hands down one of the top single parent books I’ve ever read! Foster brings the feels. A Taste of Whiskey is a heart- pounding ride that pulls you in. This books is so good, I can’t get enough!

Sasha Whiskey was a naive, innocent 15 year old girl when she and her friend snuck out of the house to go to a party and she met rebellious 17 year old Ezra. The connection was instantaneous, but it took years before their time would come to explore what could be. So many years later, Sasha and Ezra are both working at Redemption Ranch. There is a policy in place that co-workers, workers/patients, etc. cannot date each other. So what does this mean to them? Well it means either they ask permission to date, they forget about dating each other, or they sneak around. So which one do you think they choose? Yep, the most dangerous one of all. When this starts it's just supposed to be friends with benefits. But somewhere along the way, feelings get involved. Yeah, let's be honest, feelings were involved long ago at that party. But now Ezra has a son and he needs to be protected. It all comes to a head when Ezra gets an emergency call from his son. Sasha and Ezra rush to find Gus and call in the troops, aka The Dark Knights. That night decisions are made and "secrets" are revealed. But let's be honest, in the Whiskey family, there are no secrets. And Sasha's parents and siblings have been matchmaking all along. I have to admit, this story is very touching, but Gus really is the star of this story. He is so adorable and so well-loved by anyone who meets him. He loves Sasha, aka Sugar, and treasures his time spent with her. And OMG, seeing Dare with him made me burst out laughing. You'll know what I'm talking about when you read the story. Enjoy this book and treasure all of the Gusto moments.

Taste of Whiskey is the 4th book in the Redemption Ranch series. This book is about Ezra and Sasha. They are a perfect match. Throw in a cute little boy Gus and it’s the perfect book! This book is so good, it has all the feels in it. I couldn’t put this book down from the start. Another amazing story by Melissa Foster!!!

I loved Sasha and Ezra’s story. Gus totally stole the show and I loved every page. The family aspect of this series is always prevalent and I love that too. This is one of my favorites without a doubt.

Sexy single dad, friends to lovers and we interact with characters from previous books! What more could we ask for? We didn’t even have to ask. We the reader, were given a wonderfully well written story with characters that come alive on the pages and make you fall in love with them. Ezra is the amazing, sexy, single dad. Sasha is brave, compassionate and does incredible work with the horses that come to Redemption Ranch. And Gus is there to steal our hearts and Sugar’s too (also known as Sasha). But because they are friends to lovers, co-workers and he’s a single dad there are complications that need to be addressed once Ezra and Sasha cross the line in their relationship. For a while I was worried how they would be able to make it work and truly be together. This story does not disappoint with its HEA. Can I just say again how much I love Gus. After reading Ezra and Sasha’s story I want to know so much more about Doc.
